Umpqua Punisher
Drew Chicone's tarpon pattern is tied extremely sparse with just a few materials.
The difference is that this bug is entirely synthetic without wrestling hard to manage feathers that tend to twist or spin on the shank.
The palmered brushes give this pattern a cylindrical shape that moves a significant amount of water for a minuscule fly. Its bushy body also keeps the fly from plummeting to the bottom and imparts it with a lifelike swimming motion without much forward movement.
